IFA Consulting SCF Ltd is among the very first independent financial advisory firms in Italy, founded in 2002 by professionals who had already been active in the financial advisory field since the 1990s.

IFA has actively contributed to the recognition of the profession in Italy through ASSOFINANCE, up to the national regulation introduced in 2018 and the adoption in Italy of best practices long established in countries with a strong financial culture.

IFA Consulting is registered with the Register of Financial Advisors (OCF Resolution No. 1080 of April 18, 2019) in the specific section for legal entities that meet the requirements of independence, professional competence, and integrity, verified and certified by the Supervisory Authority.

IFA is a professional firm that takes care of and integrates the different aspects of the client’s asset, economic, and financial health, operating with full autonomy and independence from traditional intermediaries that distribute and provide financial products and services in conflict of interest.

Since 2005, it has served as a technical consultant and expert for the Judicial Authority and public institutional bodies (Parliamentary Commissions, Court of Auditors, Local Authorities, Foundations, CNDC) as well as arbitrator in formal arbitration proceedings (ex articles 806 et seq. Italian Code of Civil Procedure).

From the outset, IFA has established strong academic ties with the University of Verona in the field of quantitative models and risk management for finance. It has also contributed as an external lecturer at other universities (LUISS, Bicocca, Ca’ Foscari) and professional or financial education associations (National Council of Chartered Accountants, AIGECRI, National Bar Council, DIDACOM, Altalex, Super Partes notaries).

In 2008, IFA founded Fairmat Ltd, among the fastest-growing fintech companies in Italy and Europe (Il Sole 24 Ore, La Repubblica, Financial Times).

Since 2003, IFA has collaborated as an independent analyst for major media outlets such as Il Sole 24 Ore, Rai News 24, Data Room, Corriere della Sera, La7, Il Fatto Quotidiano, L’Espresso, Report Rai 3.
